Frequently Asked Questions-(FAQ) – NRM Primary Care Virtual

Virtual Primary Care at NRM Primary Care allows you to consult with our healthcare providers remotely via secure video, phone, or messaging. It’s a convenient way to receive timely care for non-emergency conditions, chronic disease management, prescriptions, and wellness visits—all from home or work.  


Our providers can address: 

  • Cold/flu, allergies, sinus infections 
  • Skin conditions (rashes, acne) 
  • Mental health concerns (anxiety, depression) 
  • Chronic condition management (diabetes, hypertension) 
  • Prescription refills & medication questions 
  • Preventive health & wellness coaching 
  • Note: For emergencies (chest pain, severe injuries, etc.), please call 911 or visit the nearest ER.


  • Online: Log in to your NRM patient portal to request an appointment. 
  • Phone: Call our office at 914-809-8926. 
  • Email: Send a request to Nicholas@nrmprimarycare.com.


You’ll need: 

  • A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera/microphone 
  • Stable internet connection 
  • Our secure telehealth platform (link provided after scheduling) 
  • No downloads required for most visits!


  •  Yes! Most major insurance plans (including Medicare) cover virtual visits. We recommend checking with your insurer for specific coverage details. Self-pay options are also available. 


  •  Absolutely. If medically appropriate, our providers can e-prescribe medications to your preferred pharmacy or order lab tests/imaging at a nearby facility.  


  •  Yes! New patients are welcome. Call our office to register before your first visit.  


  •  If your provider determines you need hands-on care (e.g., stitches, blood work), we’ll coordinate a seamless transition to one of our NRM Primary Care clinics or a trusted local facility. 


  • Test your device’s audio/video before the appointment. 
  • Have your medication list and medical history ready. 
  •  Ensure good lighting and a quiet, private space.
