Office Polices

  • Virtual visits must be scheduled in advance through our patient portal, by phone, or via email. 
  • Cancellation Policy:  We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations/no-shows may incur a $25 fee. 
  • Same-day appointments may be available for urgent concerns (subject to provider availability). 


  •  Virtual visits are available for established and new patients (new patients must complete registration first). 
  • Not all conditions are suitable for virtual care. If an in-person evaluation is needed, we will help arrange follow-up care. 
  • Emergencies: For life-threatening conditions (chest pain, severe bleeding, etc.), call 911 or go to the nearest ER. 


  • Patients must have a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a working camera, microphone, and stable internet. 
  • Browser/Device Compatibility:  Our secure telehealth platform works on most devices (Chrome, Safari, Firefox recommended). A link will be sent prior to your visit. 
  • Technical Issues? Notify our office immediately if you encounter connection problems.

  •  Most major insurances (including Medicare) cover virtual visits. Copays/coinsurance apply as per your plan. 
  •  Self-pay patients: Payment is due at the time of service ($75–$150 per visit, depending on complexity). 
  • No-show/late cancellation fees are the patient’s responsibility and not billable to insurance. 


  • All visits use HIPAA-compliant, encrypted technology to protect your privacy. 
  • Environment Patients must be in a private, well-lit space during the visit (driving or public areas are not permitted). 
  • Abuse Policy: Disrespectful behavior, inappropriate conduct, or misuse of virtual services may result in discharge from the practice. 


  • If labs, imaging, or in-person exams are needed, we will coordinate referrals to NRM Primary Care clinics or local facilities. 
  • Records: Visit summaries and medical records are accessible via your patient portal. 


  •  For non-urgent questions, message your provider via the patient portal (response within 1–2 business days).  


 By participating in NRM Primary Care’s virtual visits, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.
